ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Any student or learner who wishes to follow our course should comply to the following minimum requirements.

Not attend school

Must be 18 years old & over

Must have a valid SA Identity document

Have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification

EGD (Engineering Graphics & Design) essential as a drawing subject in Grade 12
-
Tech. Maths; Maths Lit or Pure Maths

English as a subject

NO GRADE 12; then may have min. N1 with Tech. Drawing and any trade subject from a TVET College.

Good drawing or artistic ability is essential.

The successful candidate qualifies for a NATIONAL CERTIFICATE: "MULTI-DISCIPLINARY DRAWING-OFFICE PRACTICE" (N4 & N5) issued by the National Department of Higher Education and Training on condition that a minimum number of 8 subjects have been passed.

Obtain a min. pass mark of 50% in all 8 or 9 subjects in MDDOP to obtain the National Certificate (1 year).

Fees and payment structure to be discussed during interview with parent/guardian/sponsor and learner.
Duration of Programme:
9 month programme of study divided into 3 Trimesters with National External Examinations in April, August and November or as structured by DHET.

Class times:
Full-Time/F2F/Online/Blended: Monday to Thursday 08h00 - 15h00 & Friday 08h00 - 11h00
Part-Time/Online: Monday & Wednesday 17h00 - 20h00 & Saturdays 09h00 - 12h00
Programme Structure:
More than nine (9) disciplines of draughting (drawing); with CAD Programme throughout the year plus 3 National Examination subjects per trimester as structured by DHET.
